Support for concrete foundations

Techno Metal Posts are installed underneath the structure to support the loads of your structure. They are screwed into the ground and secured to the reinforcement before the concrete is poured. During installation, the bearing capacity of each pile is known in real time. The screwed piles are installed at a depth defined by the engineering department in order to take the loads of the structure and ensure that their minimum bearing capacities are reached. This technique ensures the stability of a construction in the case where the soil has a low bearing capacity, for example.

A plate is welded on each pile and secured to the reinforcement. We offer different types of plates as standard. We can also adapt them to your needs.

Techno Metal Posts are installed underneath the structure to take up the forces of the sill. The positioning of each pile is determined by the engineering department according to the load bearing capacity. The pile will be screwed into the ground until the determined bearing capacity is obtained. The reinforcement will be attached to the support plate welded to the pile. The concrete can then be poured normally.

In the case of prefabricated stringers, the piles are placed between each stringer. The screwing torque of each pile is determined according to the forces of the sill to be supported. All calculations from the load descriptions are made by the engineering department. Each pile will be equipped with a plate welded with concrete reinforcing bars to support the sills.

When helical piles are specified as the foundation for a project, Techno Metal Post's engineers will determine the type of piles to be installed based on the loads to be supported and the soil characteristics. The engineer can issue a certificate of compliance and guarantee the work in accordance with current standards.
