Established in 2006 by Matt Regan and Will Regan, Techno Metal Post Albany’s main purpose is to bring helical pile foundations, stabilization, and building technology to New York’s Capital District’s commercial, industrial, residential and municipal/government projects.
Before joining Techno Metal Post, we were involved in the home building and construction industry for many years. Our family business began a generation ago in the logging industry and evolved into log home and professional building and construction contracting. Then, in 2006, while working on a project in Bolton Landing, just off the beach of Lake George, we were digging footings for a deck foundation and hit exposed water at a depth of 10 inches. We instantly knew that poured tubes or concrete piers would be unable to provide the proper bearing capacity. We researched alternative foundation technologies and decided to give Techno Metal Post a try. Within an hour and a half, the Techno Metal Post team had installed a dozen helical piles and we had started building. We were sold!

Techno Metal Post has developed a range of hydraulic machines dedicated entirely to the installation of helical piles. They are all designed to perform rigorous and reliable work. In most cases, no excavation is necessary for common residential projects.

I have used them for decks and additions. By the time you weigh out the labor to dig holes, buy tubes and fill tubes with concrete, backfill around tubes and fix the landscape around where you dig, this is a much better setup and dollar for dollar less expensive!
