Two new dealerships have also sprung up in France: Clément Rouchouse and Maxime Albafouille for Techno Pieux Rhône and Nord-Isère, as well as Julien Pondaven for Techno Pieux Toulouse.

They have all been trained at Techno Pieux in Thetford Mines and have signed contracts guaranteeing them the exclusive rights to use the registered trademarks and technology of Techno Pieux.

Techno Metal Post is featured on the cover of “Profesional Deck Builder” Magazine

«A New Jersey deck builder liked helical piles  so much he started a new business»

Techno Metal Post makes the cover of  "Professional Deck Builder Magazine" may/june 2012 edition picturing the R2D installation machine.

Greg DiBernardo, one of our dealers in New Jersey, wrote an excellent article describing how helical piers work and their specific benefits for deck projects.

The article describes the benefits of their use and a little more about the engineering behind them.  A special contribution to the article from Techno Metal Post Alaska shows how posts can be installed through frozen ground using a proprietary heating element that thaws the ground around where the post is to be installed.

Those few pages in the Professional Deck Builder magazine are showing other contractors 'the best way' to install a foundation for a deck or any other type of project.

Prestigious Recognition for Techno Pieux

Last Saturday May 5th the Gran Bal des Etoiles d”or du Cercle Esteler took place.

This prestigious evening event is the occasion for honoring the 2011 performances of Belgian and Canadian businesses, and to award them with the Etoiles d’Or Cercle Trophy.

This year there were 7 companies in the running and Techno Pieux won, receiving the trophy that evening.

This recognition is testimonial to the determined work, and constant pursuit of quality undertaken by Pierre Lecocq, National Leader for Techno Pieux in Belgium and Luxemburg since 2005.

Since the creation of Techno Pieux BELUX, many projects have been carried out in Belgium especially for important underpinning jobs.

Pierre Lecocq has also led a geothermal pilot project with THP technology and with the collaboration of the University of Mons.

Finally, let us remember that Techno Pieux BELUX was the first European company to import the powerful ET-1, one of Techno Pieux’s specialized installation equipment.

Today, 3 Techno Pieux dealerships are busy in Belgium and the future looks promising with the new generation preparing to ensure the continuity of Techno Pieux BELUX.

Mr. Lecocq’s son David is a certified Techno Pieux installer and Heidi his sister who heads the communications and advertising were both present to receive the Cercle Esteler trophy.

Le Cercle Esteler

Created in Quebec in 2005, this club has the aim of promoting economic relations between Wallonia and Quebec. The goal is to contribute their joint development in agreement with the actions led by the Walloon exportation agency (AWEX), the foreign investments in Montreal, the Délégation générale du Québec in Brussels, and their respective authorities.

Techno Metal Post of Northern New Jersey builds deck for a wounded soldier.

Techno_Metal_post_of_Northern_New_Jersey-Monroe_Township-NJ-04On November 5, 2011, Techno Metal Post of Northern New Jersey, along with industry association NADRA, participated in the ribbon cutting Ceremony for a wounded American soldier, returning back home from Afghanistan to Monroe Township, NJ.  NADRA, the North American Deck & Railing Association, created its Decks for Soldiers (D4S) program several years back, which builds decks at no cost to the returning soldier.

In this case, the soldier was provided with a new deck and railings by NADRA member companies, along with a complete renovation of his house, including all new fixtures and furnishings, state of the art utility services and a roof mounted solar array, which is expected to cover 80% of the electric needs of the renovated home.

This soldier, Lance Corporal Colin Pascik, a two-year veteran of the United States Marine Corps, was wounded in August 2010 by an IED while serving his country proudly in Afghanistan. His injuries resulted in the amputation of both legs. Colin's spirits are unbelievably high and his positive attitude has been an example to all who meet him.
