The global progression of the Techno Metal Post network requires to train new installers year-round. From this moment, training sessions can be done during the winter season, despite harsh temperatures and weather constraints associated with our Canadian climate.
The new center will provide training sessions to the building industry professionals as well. This includes engineers, architects, contractors and building officials. Pascal Marceau, Chief Engineer explains how important this new Training Center is: "... it will help us to provide a basis on how to use helical piles and show the multiple advantages of our technology". Pascal Marceau also travels worldwide to make presentations on the advantages of using helical piles.

Techno Metal Post Helical Foundation System Earns ICC-ES Evaluation Report (See ESR #3418)
Techno Metal Post Helical Pile Foundations, manufactured by TECHNO-PIEUX INC, recently received an evaluation report (ESR#3418) from the ICC Evaluation Service (ICC-ES).
The records provide solid evidence that the items listed below, meet code requirements:
Helical piles 3 1⁄2” pipe- model P3-8, P3-10 and P3-12
Municipal officials, architects, contractors, designers and others who use the ICC-ES, now have access to the technical data for the use or approval of the TMP foundation system (under the International Building Code-IBC).
ICC-ES President Shahin Moinian, explains why ICC-ES reports are so important- “TECHNO-PIEUX INC can now reference the evaluation report to assure municipal officials and the construction industry, that the product meets I-Code requirements. Municipal departments that issue building permits, have a long history of using ICC-ES evaluation reports. They recognize ICC-ES as a technical resource, providing the highest quality review of building products. Final approval of construction products, however, sits in the hands of the local regulations department”.
ICC-ES thoroughly examined TECHNO-PIEUX INC’s product information documents, trial reports, calculations, quality control methods and other factors to ensure the product was code-compliant.
“Our Company is committed to providing high-quality products that satisfy standardized testing and the certification process, while also providing excellent customer service”, says Pascal Marceau, Senior Engineer for TECHNO-PIEUX INC. The Company has a network of 106 independent dealers-installers spread in the United States, Canada, France, Belgium, Switzerland and Spain.
A nonprofit, limited liability company, ICC-ES is the leading evaluation service for innovative building materials, components and systems. ICC-ES Evaluation Reports (ESRs) provide evidence that products and materials meet applicable standards and code regulations. ICC-ES also issues environmental assessment reports to ensure that products meet specific sustainability targets as defined by codes, standards, ecological rating systems and environmental criteria.
ICC-ES is an affiliate of the International Code Council® (ICC®). For more information, you can visit the website:
Our TMP family has expanded with the arrival Gulf Techno METAL POST in the southern U.S. state of Alabama. Bradley Berneche & Stephen Markush are the new dealers. Their territory extends to the Florida panhandle.
Everyone benefitted from their training sessions at Techno Pieux headquarters in Thetford Mines where they signed their contracts guaranteeing their use of TMP trademarks and TMP technology. The machinery has all ready been sent and the new dealers are planning their first season.
The annual meeting of Techno Pieux Europe took place on June 28, 29 and 30. Dealers from Belgium, France and Switzerland had the chance to attend several technical presentations that particularly dealt with regulatory changes and specialized equipment. This annual occasion is a wonderful opportunity for everyone to share and exchange experiences and projects.
This year Techno Pieux was celebrating its tenth birthday. Along with Techno Pieux International, the company organized a raffle for its dealers. The prize, a one-week trip to Quebec.
The fortunate winners from the Techno Pieux Arcachon dealership, Frédérique and Pierre Chaumont, made the most of their fall week in Quebec to visit their colleagues and friends at company headquarters in Thetford Mines.
This was Frédérique’s first and Pierre’s second visit to the Techno Pieux offices and workshops; just as at the annual meetings, their visit ended up providing them with a number of constructive interchanges.
We thank the winning team for coming to see us!
