Two new concessions are being set up in Europe on French soil. We are pleased to welcome Techno Pieux Sud-Seine, our new dealer in northern France, along with Techno Pieux Nantes Nord, managed by already-established dealers.

Sylvain Jirot and Jerome Eliot are anxiously awaiting the arrival of their new machinery so that work can begin. “At sites where concrete solution are often difficult and/or expensive to implement, helical piles provide the answer for a fair number of problematic situations; added to this is the simplicity of the procedure and especially the fact that it has a positive technical assessment that allows us to comply with the French standards and regulations”.

Brothers Olivier and Marc Le Bigot are the owners of Techno Pieux Rennes-Vannes and Techno Pieux Le Mans-Tours. On the heels of their concessions’ clear success it was natural for them to open Techno Pieux Nantes Nord since geographically this area is located between their first two concessions inaugurated at the beginning of 2013.

The advent of these two dealers once more confirms that Techno Metal Post is the number one choice in the helical pile industry.

With great joy and pride, Techno Metal Post announces the creation of the first concession in South America. Martin Laberge and his wife Laurence Perez have decided to take on the challenge of developing the first territory on the South American continent by inaugurating a concession in French Guyana, a French territory located on the Brazilian border.

“We have now had the chance to study a number of geo-technical reports that mention the famous Guyana coastline with soil that has limited weight-bearing capacity on the surface thereby making it difficult to construct buildings for a reasonable cost since practically on a regular basis deep foundations are required or the soil must be replaced. Besides its exotic beauty and equatorial climate, Guyana is first and foremost an area that can be developed: anything is possible for those who are willing to work hard, with a serious, bold approach and with a good dose of realism and creativity.

The growth of this small economy is the result of the confrontation between two exceptional dynamics: its strong economic expansion and one of the healthiest rates of demographic growth in the world,” says Laurence Perez.

The first step on a continent that has a lot to offer. New projects in new conditions: this is a challenge that Techno Pieux can successfully undertake.

On May 30 & 31^st, all European dealers were brought together under one roof, at Techno Metal Posts’ annual meeting, in Amiens (France).

Its purpose was to inform the dealers on recent technological developments and promotional tools.  The event was well received, and allowed us to see the ongoing drive the dealers bring to our network.  All of them took the opportunity to exchange tips and suggestions, as well as discuss their most recent achievements.

A note-worthy mention, was the commemoration of the business’s 20 years in the industry; Techno Metal Post was started in 1993 by Clément Binet and Daniel Thivierge.  In 2003, TMP installed its first helical pile on European soil, and today the company has 115 dealers in nine countries.  Presently accredited in Canada and France, and newly certified in the U.S. in 2013, Thetford Mines has clearly become a world leader in screw pile foundations.

Good news continue to arrive as the year unfolds: two new dealers in Canada have joined the Techno Metal Post team.

Mike Smith is the new owner of Techno Metal Post Cariboo, located in Quesnel, British Columbia. Smith had the opportunity to get to know Techno Metal Posts’ pile system through his work in the construction industry. When he realized what enormous potential and quality the product had, he did not think twice about approaching Techno Metal Post to secure a dealership.

Daniel Hubert worked in the housing construction and renovation sector in Newfoundland. He discovered Techno Metal Post while looking for an alternative solution to concrete foundations for his clients. During his tour of company headquarters, Daniel expressed surprise over the warm reception offered him by the team and the scope of its operations. Following this visit, he began to prepare an application to secure a dealership in Newfoundland, which was granted him in May of this year.

These two new dealers once again confirm that Techno Metal Post continues to be the number one choice in the helical pile industry from coast to coast.

Techno Metal Post is pleased to announce, that we’ve just added a Spanish version to our website!  In response to the many requests from south U.S., Central and South America, TMP has decided to translate its website to serve the Spanish community.

To further develop its operations in Spain, which already has established dealers, this was a necessary and important step to take.

What’s to follow?  Perhaps a Swedish, Portuguese or even Japanese version of the site?  Yet more proof, that Techno Metal Post continues to grow on a worldwide scale.

In recent months, several Techno Metal Post directors have traveled across Canada, to present their dealers with the company's latest innovations.  The meetings were held on February 18 in British Columbia, March 5th in Manitoba and April 5th in Ontario.  Those present, were brought up to date on technological advances and newly developed promotional tools.  Overall, more than 20 dealers participated in the company's 20th anniversary celebration, along with various presentations given by the head office team.

Our U.S. annual meeting held on February 27, brought in dealers from the states of Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New Jersey and New York.  This successful day allowed the dealers to participate in technical training, product showcasing and overviews, as well as marketing demonstrations.

After the presentations, some leisure activities helped everyone enjoy the rest of the day.  During supper, the U.S. dealers shared their work experience and enjoyed the hospitality that came with Thetford Mines.

Overall, the successful day incorporated the company’s 20th anniversary celebration, along with various presentations given by the head office team.

Dealers from across Canada attended our annual meeting held on Friday, February 21st.  Those from the Prairies, Quebec, Ontario and the Maritimes were on-site for technical training, product presentations as well as marketing demonstrations.  In all, more than 60 people gathered in Thetford Mines to celebrate the company's 20th anniversary.

After a productive day, the team headed out to the Beauce region for a friendly game of hockey, followed by supper at the Georgesville, organized by Michael Jalbert and Simon Paquet (owners of Techno Metal Post Beauce).
